Zimmermann Associates, Inc. was incorporated in 1974 as an outgrowth of the construction division of G.F. Zimmermann, Inc., a noted construction and real estate firm of long standing in the Lakeland, Florida area. Since the early sixties, our work has included commercial and custom residential construction; building shopping centers, car dealerships, offices, and fine homes around the state.

By 1981, ZA was recognized for unique skills and successes in preservation/restoration construction and remodeling. Although professional "This Old House" proponents were virtually unknown at that time, ZA established this worthy precedent for the Lakeland area.

We continue with this unique concept, welcoming residential and institutional jobs of any size that involve creativity, masterful craftsmanship, and managed control of the re-construction process. We are especially proud of our architectural and interior design experts, and the team of craftsmen we've assembled through the years, representing the best available skills and talent. They love their work and continually build on their knowledge, judgment and personal discipline.

Zimmermann Associates, Inc. field team is led by career master carpenters, each of whom knowledgeably direct the day-to-day, hands-on elements of a project. Scott Zimmermann represents this tradition well as senior superintendent. Our acknowledged master-builder carpenters have developed a following of customers that routinely request them for subsequent projects.
